Hey!

Today, I would like to write about one of my hobbies.   This hobby is hiking (or trekking) and I really enjoy it doing it.  I did it many times in Canada.  I did day hiking and also I did hiking during a week or so.  I did the Chilkoot trail between the US and Canada.  Do you remember that famous picture during the gold rush of 1895?  We see in this picture peoples all lining up with big bag pack on their back.  This is the trail that I did.  I really enjoy my experience.

In 2008, I went to Nepal and I did Everest base camp.  The first time I had Altitude sickness.  This is not a good thing to have.  I had few symptoms such as a headache, lack of appetite and nausea.   I had to go back.  I was at Dingboche at 4 400 meter (14 400 feet) when I had to go back.  I was only at one night from Base camp.  Two years later I decided to go back there and try it again Everest base camp. I didn’t want that the Nepalese mountains won over me.  This time I made it and the privilege to sleep 2 nights at Everest base camp.  I was healthy for the 3 weeks there.  What a big change!

In September 2011, I will do the Kilimanjaro in Tanzania.   I wanted to do it since I watched the movie was out in IMAX few years back.  I read a book on it and I really looking forward to be at 5 895 m (19,336 ft) at the top where is that famous sign.

Hey future Internet Millionaire,

I would like to share something today that I learn recently.  I hope that you will find it as useful as I do.  This is just a little something that really helps you with your marketing.  As you probable already know, there thousands of people Online who do the same kind of marketing that you do.  How do you do to be different?

I’m talking about a Unique Selling Proposition (USP).  You really need it. There many benefits to have one.

You USP will make you unique.  It helps you create your own identity.  It creates curiosity and the leads went to click on your link.  They will remember your USP for a long time.

Are you wondering how to create one?  Your USP it supposes to descript a special skill set that you have, something that you did in the past or something that descript yourself.

For example, mine is the following: “The never give up French Canadian guy.”  Why I choose this USP?  I don’t want to give up the online marketing stuff till I succeed.  Also, I’m a French Canadian.  This USP that really descript me.  You see this is how you come up with a Unique Selling Proposition.

Here, a few examples that it might help you to find yours: “the king of never calling a single lead”, “The Internet superstar”, “this 200K Old school MLMer”,”Ex broke Preschool teacher”, “Ex Data entry clerk went to $1900 salary per month to $59 999 income per month”, “10 year corporate burnout”, etc.

I hope that you get the juices flowing.  Why don’t you create your UPS right now?  Set yourself as an expert!  There no better way to set you apart from others with a USP.

Good luck with your future UPS!

Imagine this situation:  you are really interested to start a business on your own.  You don’t know where to start. You decide to do some research about how to start a business.  You talk to your friend about your project.  He recommends that you start on the basics.  He said that: The basic is your mindset.  You read a book about how to have the right mindset.  Here, what you will learn on this topic.  That you need a dream, written goals, a passion and a game plan to make your dream come true.

First, you must dream big dreams.  Dreams are the fuel that gives you the motivation you need to put in that extra mile.  Dreams are the fuel that provides the sheer will power that allows you to say: “I can, I will, I MUST!”  There is a quote who reflects that from an unknown author: “Follow your dreams, for as you dream you shall become.

Second, you must have written goals.  Goals give you a sense of meaning and purpose. Goals give you a sense of direction.  In 1953, researchers studying goal setting surveyed a group of students from Yale University on their goals. They discovered only 3% of that group had written goals.  20 years later, when they tracked down the same students, they discovered that the same 3% who had clearly written goals when they graduated in 1953 were more successful, and worth more in terms of wealth than the other 97% put together.

Third, you must have a passion for what you do. This is the driving force that set you apart from other peoples.  It’s a desire, energy that gives you the fuel to tap into your potential.  There is a quote from T. Alan Armstrong who demonstrates that.  His quote is the following: if there is no passion in your life, then have you really lived?  Find your passion, whatever it may be.  Become it, and let it become you and you will find great things happen for you, to you and because of you.

Finally, you must have a game plan.  It will give you a direction and you will avoid being lost in so many details.  Brian Tracy who is an expert in goals setting, says that “Every minute spend in planning saves ten minutes in execution.  Every minute that you spend planning and thinking before you begin will save you time, money, and energy in getting the results you desire.”

In conclusion, you learned what it takes to realize your dream.  You learned that it takes a dream, written goals, a passion and a game plan to make your dream come true.  Now that you know it, will you make your dream come true?

The purpose of my life is to use my generosity, self-motivation, integrity, honesty and my help by envolving, helping, working, listening, devoting my help to others so that they are able to expand their minds, become personally and financially free, and be able to enjoy all that life has to offer.
